Children's Civil War Clothing
The prices are for basic labor (That does include the self small pipping in the sleeves, waist, and neckline, and the hand sewing of the neckline pipping) only and will vary depending on how elaborate the decoration. You choose your own fabrics! (Or agree to my choices) Each bone added will be $.75. The price DOES NOT include closures or heming (As those would need to be hand sewn) I will hand gauge your skirt for extra $20. Otherwise the skirt will be machine sewn. Any other hand sewing I charge $20 an hour. :-)

| This is one of my newest dresses for a small child. I used a border
printed material because I thought it was soooo cute. That and I did not have the time to
spend embroiding a skirt for a rough a tumble little one to rip the first time out! CW23 Price:$30.00 |
| This Godey child size ball gown was a blast to make. This is the first of
many ball gowns I will be making. Lace insertion and the tabs and tassels make this
dress just shine! The 2 tiered skirt and the bertha add to the festivitive
look. CW20 Price:$50 |
| The adorable child's dress is too cute to discribe. If you are like me
finding accurate children's clothing is a chore. Now that I have a child I am looking for
accurate things. I am offering this line taken from ACTUAL garments of the period I have
been able to examine via ebay. This A line dress has a jeweled neckline and half length
sleeves. (hat not included) CW11 Price: $20.00 |
| Here is another one of my offerings. The dress design was also
copied from an originial garment sold on ebay. This dress is a bit fuller than the
one above and comes down much lower. It has a beteau neckline and half length sleeves.(hat
not included) CW12 Price: $20.00 |
| I made this jacket from scraps so that is why it does not match the
dress. (It should) It worked like a charm to keep the baby warm and the sun from burning
the little arms. Taken from a period photo. CW17 Price:$12.00 |
| This is one of the CUTEST bonnets I have made.... I made myself and my
daughter one for the last reenactment we attended. This is such a simple, but sensible
bonnet. It keeps the sum from burning the ears, neck, and face. If your child is like mine
and have light skin this will be the answer. It is a copy of an adult, just made a bit
smaller. CW16 Price:$15.00 |
| This is another bonnet I made for a costumer. It is so cute and helps
cover the little ones head. I have made them with a ruffle in the back to look a bit more
dressy. No little reenactor should be without one. Price includes material.
(bleached muslin) CW25 Price:$10 |

cotton batting to keep your little one toasty warm on those cold evenings. The coats has 3
buttons down the fton for closures. The jacket is lined in muslin. CCW1 Price: $40 |
| This ball gown was of the typical style of the period. Copied from a 1861
Peterson engraving from my collection. It would be the perfect dress to use up all of your
scrap silk! CCW2 Price: $ 60 |
| This is a very popular style dress for a child. I copied the dress from
an original dress from the period. The draw string at the top makes it easy to
adjust. It is simple, but elegant. CCW3 Price: $ 40 Pattern: $12 for a single size (size 1 to 6) or $24 for a made to your measurements pattern. |
